FRANKLIN-The 13th round of the Three Rivers Bass Tournament Series was on Sept. 6, and boaters launched from the new Hercules Boat Landing on the Nottoway River.

The team of Kevin Gunn and Jonathan Whitley took first place with five bass weighing 11.17 pounds. In second place was the team of Jerry Bradshaw and Cricket Butler with five bass weighing 9.91 pounds.

Taking third place was David Nunnally with five bass weighing 9.13 pounds. Following in fourth place was the team of Billy Daniels and Brent Boney with five bass weighing 8.86 pounds, then fifth place was the team of Keith Vick and K.J. Vick with five bass weighing 8.43 pounds.

The heaviest bass of the day was caught by Mike Scott and weighed 3.62 pounds.
