STATESVILLE—Henry Forest Britt, 79, died on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at his home.

Mr. Britt was born to the late Henry Forest and Louise Barnes Britt.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Reames; three children, Forest L. Britt, Angie Egerton and J.C. Britt; five grandchildren; two sisters, including Joan Bunn of Newsoms; and three brothers.

The funeral took place on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church in Alexander County with the Rev. Steve Parks, the Rev. Mitch King and Rev. Dr. Michael Gehring officiating.urial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
