Beginning today, our website will begin utilizing a new system for managing reader engagement. The new system, called Disqus, allows a reader to log in using their Facebook, Twitter or Google accounts, or by registering as a Disqus user. We expect it to be a much more user-friendly system that will allow readers to stay engaged across multiple platforms. The only downside is that archived comments on stories already published cannot be retrieved.
