FRANKLIN—Virginia Parker Williams, 91, of Suffolk, passed away on July 21, 2014, at Village at Woods Edge in Franklin.

She was born in Nansemond County, the daughter of the late Seth and Sue Goodman Parker. Virginia is predeceased by her husband, Carsie Clifton Williams; brother, Louis Parker; and sisters, Marjorie P. Cook, Elizabeth Parker, Hazel P. Evans and Joyce P. Patty.
She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
Virginia is survived by her sister, Ola P. Drewry of Courtland; brothers, John T. Parker (Frances), Harold G. Parker and wife Nancy of Suffolk; sister-in-law, Edna M. Parker; and many nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will take place on Friday, July 25, at 11 a.m. in Holly Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Gregory Hammer officiating.
