This person is suspected of breaking into a Southampton Meadows home this past week after being caught on camera at the same residence back in April. Southampton County Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify the suspected burglar.

This suspect is alleged to have broken into a Williams Street trailer home earlier this month and taken an air conditioner, food and drinks, said Maj. Gene Drewery, spokesman for the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office.

The Southampton Meadows residence had been hit previously in April, and that’s where the photo comes from, but the homeowner did not report it until July 7 after the second burglary. The homeowner had a camera system going in his trailer.

Drewery said that identifying this suspect could potentially lead to more burglaries being solved.

The Sheriff’s Office can be reached at 653-2100 or you can remain anonymous by calling the Crime Line at 653-2900.
