Editor:

As a taxpayer, I know all too well the frustration of losing hard-earned income to a government that seems to be spending out of control. Now, it seems that the situation only will get worse: Many of our policymakers are considering a tax on Internet access.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the possibility of an access tax has become so real that many providers are notifying their customers about this potential new expense. Fortunately, Congressman [Randy] Forbes is working to make sure that this proposed tax never becomes a reality by supporting legislation to make the ban on a federal access tax permanent. Without this legislation, the ban will soon expire. Congressman Forbes recognizes the unreasonable burden on the American taxpayer, and I hope that we all can lend our support to his efforts.

Please contact Congressman Forbes and lend your support for this important work he is doing on our behalf of all of us and our pocketbooks.
