WINDSOR—Charles Gibson Harmon, 81, died on July 1, 2014, at Sentara Obici.

He was a native of Nansemond County, a son of the late C.T. and Hattie Brinkley Harmon, and was predeceased by his wife, Rachel Carr Harmon, and a son, Michael Owen Harmon.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Charlene H. Paul of Lititz, Pa.; two sons, Carl G. Harmon of Carrsville and C. Randy Harmon of Windsor; and one sister, Margaret B. Rhodes of Montana.

The graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3, in Colosse Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Webb officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, at the home of Randy and Tracey Harmon, 25465 Old Mill Road, Windsor.
