COURTLAND—The Southampton County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Darrel Lyles, 28, of Courtland for credit card theft, grand larceny and fraudulently receiving goods for a series of car burglaries, which reportedly occurred last week in the Shands area of Courtland, said Maj. Gene Drewery, spokesman for the sheriff’s office.

 

Lyles is being held in Southampton County Jail with no bond.
