CAPRON—Donna Lee Withers, 56, died on June 3, 2014, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.

A native of Capron, she was the daughter of the late Emma Della Lewis Withers and Robert Reese Withers Sr.

She worked at Narricot ITG in Boykins, and was a member of Capron United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, August Reese Ringer of Capron; two brothers, Dandridge Leon Withers of Harrisonburg and Robert Reese Withers Jr. and his wife, Pattie, of Courtland; two nephews, Jonathan Reese Withers and his wife, Molly, of Berwyn, Pennsylvania, and Randy Withers of Suffolk; two nieces, Tara Haynes and her husband, Daniel, of Fort Sumter, South Carolina, and Karen Blanton and her husband, Ryan, of Norfolk; special friends, Tracy Bradshaw and Cindy Pearson; and many great-nieces and great-nephews, along with many more friends.

The graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, in Capron Cemetery with Pastor Nancy Palmer officiating.

The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday in Wright Funeral Home and other times at the residence, and suggests memorials be made to Capron United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 159, Capron, VA 23829, for August Ringer’s college fund.
