Franklin police arrest flasher after foot chase

FRANKLIN—A Franklin man has been arrested after reportedly exposing himself to a family living on Southampton Road.

When Franklin Police responded at approximately 11:40 a.m. on May 21, officers had to chase 18-year-old Demetre King, and they caught him near Clay Street.

King, of the 100 block of Regency Lane, was charged with indecent exposure, obstruction of justice, public masturbation, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and peeping or spying into the dwelling of another.

King was remanded to Western Tidewater Regional Jail on a $5,500 secured bond.
