BOYKINS—Mrs. Geraldine R. Blunt, 81, of Green Street Crescent, died on Monday, May 26, 2014, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Survivors include six children, Helen Walker Kennedy, Teresa Berry, Gloria Blunt, Ernest Blunt, Memphis Blunt III and Rudolph Blunt; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, in Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, Branchville, with Pastor Willie Lowell Diggs officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The remains rest at Faison’s Funeral Home Inc., Seabord, North Carolina.
