Windsor Dukes shut out Bronco Netters

WINDSOR—The Windsor Dukes shut out the Franklin High School Broncos boys tennis team 9-0 in a district match played on Monday at Windsor High School.

Singles Matches played using the best 2 out of 3 sets. Kyle Hollowell (WHS) won 6 -0, 6-0 against Khiry Reese (FHS) at the No. 1 spot. Daniel Klausmeier (WHS) won 6- 0, 6-0 against Quayshaun Jefferson (FHS). Ethan Bales (WHS) defeated Chance McCoy (FHS) 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 3 seed. Derek Klausmeier (WHS) defeated Timothy Kreider (FHS) 6-0, 6-0. In the No. 5 spot, Stephen Hurst (WHS) won 6-0, default against Shamar Ballard (FHS). Alec Kisor won by default

Doubles matches played using an 8-game pro set and the team of Hollowell and Daniel Klausmeier (WHS) won 8-0 against Reese and Jefferson (FHS). Bales and Hurst (WHS) defeated McCoy and Kreider (FHS) 8-0.

No. 3. Derek Klausmeier and Kisor (WHS) won by default.
