NEWSOMS— Reva Vann Walton, 87, died on May 9, 2014.

She had retired from the Technical Department of Union Camp Corporation after 32 years of service.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, Keith Donovan “KD” Walton; three sisters, Julia V. Fowler, Montie V. Garris and Clonie V. Francis; and one brother, Robert Vann.

The graveside service took place at 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, at Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms, with the Rev. James Hutchinson officiating.

The family received friends Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the home of Larry and Tammy Fowler, 27218 Cypress Bridge Rd., Newsoms, and suggests memorials be made to either Newsoms Baptist Church or Newsoms Fire Department.
