EMPORIA—Novella T. Joyner, 84, died on Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center, Emporia.

The wake will be conducted on Monday, April 28, from 7 to 8 p.m. in Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel, Franklin.

The funeral will take place Tuesday, April 29, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, Franklin.
