GREENSVILLE—On Monday, the Franklin varsity softball team played away at Greensville County High School, and lost 17-0.

The memorable plays were made by Quadaeshua Barron (P), Khaliyah Walloe (1B), Marlilah Bowers (CF) and Carissa Sherman (SS).

Barron played a bunt and threw it to first to get the out. Walloe made an out at first base. Bowers caught a pop-fly in center field, as well as Sherman at short stop. The catcher, Kayla Haithcoats, aided Barron in getting an out at home plate; preventing the opposing team from getting a score.
