FRANKLIN—True Word Christian Church of Franklin will host a special program on Sunday, March 30, at 11 a.m. in the church on General Thomas Highway.

The Teen Challenge Choir of the Teen Challenge Training Center in Rehrersburg, Pa., will present a program of gospel music and individual testimony. The program is unique in that each choir member comes from a background of drugs, alcohol and/or crime and will testify as to how God saved his life.

“We are excited to have the group here,” said the church’s Pastor, Chuck Worth. “Their stories show what God can do and will touch the hearts of everyone who hears them.”

Comprised of young men from all over the United States, the choir represents more than 200 students residing at the training center. Teen Challenge is the largest non-profit rehabilitation program in the world with over 100 induction centers in the United States and over an 86 percent cure rate.

Worth said the choir performs not only in churches, but also shares their music and ministry for numerous other audiences, such as prisons, schools, military bases and even street corners.

They have also performed on the 700 Club on national television, in Washington on the steps of the Capitol and at the Washington Monument.

Worth said everyone is welcome and urges people to attend this inspirational program.
