FRANKLIN—Anthony Louis “Andy” Indilla, 86, passed away on March 27, 2014, at the East Pavilion.

Andy was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., a son of the late Christopher Joseph and Clara Fantini Indilla.

He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1946 to 1949. He was a former resident of Brookhaven, N.Y., and a retired real estate broker.

Andy was a member of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Bellport, N.Y., and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Franklin.

He was an avid gardener and woodworker.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Mary “Peggy” Indilla; six daughters, Barbara Salmiery (Larry), Susan Indilla, Carol Indilla, Jane Indilla Brown, Peggy Glennon (Tom) and Jennifer Morrissey (Jim); one son, Christopher Indilla; 10 grandchildren; and one sister, Esther I. Schwartz.

The memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, in Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Bellport, with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, N.Y.
