FRANKLIN—The Harlem Ambassadors departed the Southampton County Gym Saturday night after leaving all spectators laughing during the entire show basketball game. Frank Rickman, coach and president of the Franklin United Way said, “I thought that it went great and everyone had fun.”

Although their opposing team, the United Way Heroes, were sacked with area basketball stars and has-beens, it wasn’t about skills, but how hard the Ambassadors would poke fun at the players during the game. The Ambassadors, led by their coach, Lade Majic, also showed great concern for the youth as they had a bench full of area youth to join with them.

They also encouraged these youth and others that were spectators to join them on the floor during half-time for a dance routine and photos.
