I have known Ricky Sykes for many years as a community servant. He is now serving as the chairman of the City of the Franklin Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. Mr. Sykes has been a dedicated leader, and I know that he will be a dedicated city councilman.

A vote for Ricky Sykes will be a vote for change within our city’s parks and recreation department. He will continue to work closely with the city manager to clean up the parks, upgrade recreation equipment, and expand our recreation programs.

I think the children of ward 5, and all of the city, will truly benefit from having Ricky on the city council.

I like Sykes. Let’s give him a chance.
