Snow coming this afternoon

FRANKLIN—A mixture of snow and sleet are projected to fall this afternoon.
There is a 100 percent chance of precipitation from noon through 5 p.m. It will start off as a mix of sleet and snow, and toward 4 p.m., it will become all snow, according to the National Weather Service office in Wakefield. Snowfall could be heavy at times.
The temperatures will fall to 28 degrees by 2 p.m. By 5 p.m., the temperatures will have dropped to around 23 degrees, and the North wind will be around 17 miles per hour.
Daytime snow accumulation is projected to be around 1 to 3 inches.
Moving into tonight, mainly before 9 p.m., there is a chance of snow at 50 percent.
New snow accumulation of less than half an inch is possible.
There is a winter storm warning in effect until midnight.
On Tuesday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 35 degrees.
