COMO, N.C.—Kimberly Lauren Racette, 25, passed away on Feb. 8, 2014.

She was born in Franklin and was a member of Buckhorn Baptist Church. Kim was a member of the Como Volunteer Fire Department and the Franklin Fire and Rescue Squad.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, William and Jeanette Racette; a brother, Brandon Racette, and his wife, Amber; paternal grandmother, Fran Racette; and three beloved nieces and one nephew, Jasmine, Mikayla, Adilyn and Grayson.

Kim was predeceased by a brother, Christopher Alan Racette; paternal grandfather, George W. Racette; and maternal grandparents, Albert and Ruth Trotman.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Sean Gallagher officiating. Burial with Fireman Honors will be at Buckhorn Baptist Church Cemetery in Como.

The family will receive friends at Kim’s parents’ residence, and suggests memorials be made to the Como Volunteer Fire Department or the Franklin Fire and Rescue Squad.
