People will lose with Obama-Care

To the Editor:

So the apologists for Obama-Care say, “It was just as difficult instituting Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.”

All three of the above, Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare did experience difficulty with their rollout. Logistics, driven by the sheer number of intended recipients, did make it difficult.

There was much learning required to get those products delivered; it was before computers.

But nothing was taken from the populace; it was a one-way delivery.

With Obama-Care we have, for the first time in history, DESTROYED a working model in use by the middle class. There is one very big difference with Obama-care; a viable established and working health insurance product was trashed! Individuals LOST their coverage, their doctors and their health providers. Individual insurance policies, selected by the individuals, were totally trashed by the government.

Aside from a series of avoidable technical bloopers, all driven by immature government developers, primarily because of political goals instead of technical goals, Obama-Care became the biggest joke of the decade. Insurance moguls, heavily involved in the planning, held their loss potential to a minimum. Customers lose but the insurance companies will not.

The government has assured the insurance companies that they will be bulwarked by the U.S. Taxpayer.

Insurance companies will see their earnings either grow, or at the worst, stay stable.

And we are just now seeing the beginning. Wait folks; more is on the way and it ain’t good.

Under Obama-Care we lose.
