ZUNI—Harold White Henley, 96, passed away on Jan. 26, 2014. He was a native of the Back Bay area of Virginia Beach. He was a retired grocery store owner and operator in Norfolk and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie Minor Henley, and his parents, Jesse White and Penny Moore Henley.

Left to cherish his memory is his long-time companion, Mrs. Hazel Y. Caudle and Mrs. Caudle’s family.

The funeral with military honors will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev. Greg Kitts officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Charity Neck UMC Cemetery, Virginia Beach. Memorials may be made to your local SPCA or Black Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
