ISLE OF WIGHT—4-H members across the nation are responding to challenges every day in their communities and their world.

With a rich history and an expansive network reaching every corner of the country, 4-H is the nation’s largest youth development organization. More than six million 4-H youth in urban neighborhoods, suburban schoolyards and rural farming communities stand out among their peers: building revolutionary opportunities and implementing community-wide change at an early age.

Isle of Wight County has opportunities for youth to participate in the life-changing 4-H program and we invite all youth ages 5-18 to learn more about these opportunities on Monday, Feb. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Isle of Wight Extension Office. We will have on display all that Isle of Wight 4-H has to offer: animals, camp, crafts, cooking, robotics and performing arts. Stop by to learn about our 4-H program and determine how you can get involved. Adult volunteers are welcome, too.

For more information, contact Celia Brockway, extension agent for 4-H Youth Development, at 365-6258 or cbrock7@vt.edu. You can also visit http://offices.ext.vt.edu/isle-of-wight/.
