CAPRON-Charles LaGrange Joyner, Jr., 66, passed away December 26, 2013. Born September 30, 1947 in Petersburg, VA he retired after 33 years of service as a Supervisor with the Virginia Department of Corrections. Granger was a member of Indiantown Hunt Club and member and past president of Capron Ruritan Club. He was predeceased by his father, Charles LaGrange Joyner, Sr.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Linda Daniel Joyner; mother, Erma Dale Williams Joyner; daughter, Christy Joyner Gray of Courtland; son, Charles LaGrange “CJ” Joyner, III, and fiancée, Sarah Stebbins, of Williamsburg; sisters, Carolyn J. Nurney and Charlene J. Davis, and husband, Tommy; brother, Wesley G. Joyner, and wife, Kay, of Courtland; grandchildren, Caleigh Ashlyn Gray and Camden Andrew Gray.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with Pastor Nancy Palmer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Capron Cemetery. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
