FRANKLIN—Amy Nichole Hollowell and Jeremy Carl Maye are pleased to announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Terry and Junior Butts of Franklin, and Wayne Hollowell of Zuni. She is the maternal granddaughter of Leslie and Pearl Pulley of Franklin, and the paternal granddaughter of the late Louis and Rosa Hollowell, who lived in Carrsville.

The groom-to-be is the son of Karen and Barry VanKuren of Louisburg, N.C., and Jerry and Rebecca Maye of Marrero, La. He is the maternal grandson of Ron and Joan Rushowsky of Hollywood, Fla., and the paternal grandson of the late Jean Block, who lived in Lake Placid, Fla.

Amy is a graduate of Franklin High School and Old Dominion University. She is employed with Oliver’s Logistics, LLC.

Jeremy is a graduate of Franklinton High School. He is employed with The Brickman Group.

A December wedding is planned.
