To the Editor: 

It has been reported that three million Republican voters stayed home for the last election, the consequences of that inaction are we have the most extreme left president this country has ever seen.

In November, Virginians will choose a new governor, and the Democratic Party is throwing millions of dollars in propaganda ads in support of the anti-gun dream team of [Terry] McAuliffe, [Ralph] Northam and [Mark] Herring. We have heard nothing on the news of McAuliffe’s position on Second Amendment issues, but plenty on issues that are proven to push your emotional buttons. Why? Because Democrats know that gun ownership is a killer issue for the anti-gun left. This one issue is the test. A candidate that will not respect the Second Amendment will not respect any of the others that guarantee our liberties.

The choice could not be clearer. The Virginia Citizens Defense League has named Ken Cuccinelli, E.W. Jackson and Mark Obershain the only pro-gun candidates in this election.

If you value your constitutional rights, don’t sit this one out.
