Ken Cuccinelli defends our Constitutional rights

To the Editor:
In the wake of the Navy Yard shootings by another crazed loner, gun-control zealots are again rushing to the wrong conclusion – and rushing to grab our guns.
There’s only one problem — our Constitution states that “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” And in Virginia, only one candidate for governor believes in those words: Ken Cuccinelli.
A lifelong defender of the Second Amendment, Cuccinelli has an “A” rating from the NRA. Additionally, he has fought Obamacare in the courts, standing up for the little guy over big government.
In contrast, Terry McAuliffe is an open supporter of big government policies that erode our freedoms. He’s cozied up to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who has put millions of dollars behind a political campaign to take guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens.
But not only does big government threaten our liberty, it costs us jobs. Just look at McAuliffe’s support of Obamacare, which is already destroying the concept of full-time work.
I worry about the future of my country. We don’t have enough elected officials who respect our Constitutional rights. Ken Cuccinelli is one who does and he deserves our votes.
