The Broncos using a balanced running attack on the Eagles next set up Terry Warren to escape all defenders on a 25 yard run. The Padilla kick was good for a 21-0 lead at 5:26 in the first quarter.

The Eagles quarterback Naquan Jordan managed to slip through the Bronco defense to score the Eagles only touchdown on a 24 yard run. Noah Butler booted the extra point to reduce the Broncos lead to 21-7 with 2:04 remaining in the first quarter.

Crossing the goal line next for the Broncos was Corey Porter on a 36 yard run. With the extra point successful by Padilla, the Broncos’ lead expanded to 28-7.

Enjoying a big lead, the Broncos switched up their offense as Broncos quarterback Laquadric Pittman went to the air and connected on a 76-yard payday touchdown with Darrien Duck. The Padilla kick was good for the 35-7 lead for the home team.

A fumble late in the late first half by the Broncos resulted in the Eagles recovering it and adding a field goal to close the first half with the Broncos up 35-10.

It was all Broncos in the second half, as Stephens scored on an 80 yard run, then Porter on a 67 yard run. Porter would return an interception next for a touchdown.

The Broncos final score came on a 21 yard field goal by Padilla.

The Broncos on the ground collected 399 yards and 86 yards in the air.

Leading the Broncos in tackles was Terry Warren and Jack Sykes both with 7 apiece and Alison Cromwell with 6.

Franklin Head Coach Darren Parker remarked after the game “that the team had a great week in practice and executed in all 3 phases. Our job as coaches is to go back and break down tapes for next week. God is awesome.”

The Broncos are now 7-1 and will travel next week to play the 1-7 Windsor Dukes.
