To the Editor:

Nov. 5, 2013, is Election Day, and voting in all elections is important.

When you vote in statewide election, you vote for the person that represents your concern.

If you are a registered voter, contact your local registrar office to make sure your name has not been purged or removed from the list of registered voters.

Anyone who has moved in and out of state, or changed voting districts, call or visit your voter registration office to confirm your voting status.

Some voters have been purged.

Some registrar offices will be open Saturday, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2.
