FRANKLIN – Martha Scott “Polly” Vincent, 99, died Monday, October 21, 2013 at the home of her daughter and surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Franklin, with Pastor Dwight S. Riddick officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.

Martha was a 60-year member of First Baptist Church where she served as a missionary, and a member of the Senior Choir.

She was also the organist for the Zion Travelers Choir of Franklin. She worked for Planters Peanut Company and Birdsong Company for many years. She also became a member of the Eastern Star organization and an active member of the Oak Street Senior Citizens.

Survivors include one daughter, Evie Blunder of Franklin; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends. Elvin N. Vaughan Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge of arrangements.
