Mr. Russell L. Warren of South High Street, Franklin, VA departed this life October 18, 2013 in his home. The Southampton County native was born October 16, 1947 to the late Edward A. and Maggie Lankford Warren. In 2011, Russell retired from Northrop Grumman as a painter, after 39 years of service and he was a member of First Baptist Church, Courtland.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda M. Warren; two sons, Russell L. Warren (Kelly) and Hamilton B. Warren; one sister, Audrey M. Warren; four grandchildren, Avery, Jaivier, Alysha and Jýliyah; a nephew, cousins and in-laws.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, First Baptist Church, 21407 Plank Road, Courtland, VA, with the pastor, Reverend Dr. Martin Powell delivering the eulogy.
