To the Editor:

On Election Day, the voters of the Commonwealth have a unique opportunity in the race for Lt. Governor to vote for a candidate of paramount ability, strong character, high principals and who is in tune with our time honored Virginia traditions of public service, The Honorable Ralph Northam, Senator from the City of Norfolk. The Senator grew up on the Eastern Shore of Virginia where the Virginia traditions of hunting and fishing are of paramount importance, attended Virginia Military Institute and Eastern Virginia Medical School. He has devoted his life unselfishly to the service of his patients as a medical practitioner specializing in the treatment of children, and to his constituents as a community leader and Virginia State Senator. Indeed, to review the Senator’s service in the Virginia Senate is a study in enlightened and brilliant pragmatism.

Virginia voters on Election Day have the welcome opportunity to elect a good and decent man, Lt. Governor, and to place him in line to be Governor, consistent with the Commonwealth’s highest traditions.

Please take advantage of this opportunity and vote for Dr. Ralph.
