FRANKLIN – Mike Duman Auto Sales was the subject of a burglary late Tuesday evening or early Wednesday morning, said Capt. Tim Whitt, spokesman for the Franklin Police Department.

Unknown people broke into the service bay area of the dealership. They then pulled a white 2002 Chevrolet Astro van (Va. tag XPX-3032) into the bay. Once inside, they closed the door and loaded the van with several thousand dollars’ worth of office equipment, automotive parts and tools and then left, said Whitt.

He said the suspects also stole a 2009 Buick Enclave, which was later recovered abandoned on Route 58 west in Southampton County.
