FRANKLIN – Mary Sallie Campbell, 73, went home to her heavenly Father on September 6, 2013. Born in Perquimans County, North Carolina, she was predeceased by her parents, Rufus James and Lucy Dail Lilly, and a brother, Caleob Shelton Lilly. Until her health declined, she was an active member of Bethel Assembly of God. Mary will always be remembered as a great supporting wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will always be loved.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 52 years, Carlisle William Campbell; three sons, Carlisle W. Campbell, Jr. ( Cindy), Barney Campbell (Laura) and Kenneth Campbell; sister, Shirley Wilson (Jimmy); five brothers, Linwood Lamb (Myrtle), Elisha Lamb (Martha) Marvin Lilly (June), Roger Lilly (Debbie) and James Lilly (Shelby); sister-in- law, Joyce Lilly; seven grandchildren, Corey Campbell (Bethany), Krystal Jermstad (Kenny), Tiffany Campbell, Brian Campbell, Bubba Carter, Nicholas Campbell and Carlie Campbell; three great-grandchildren, Paige and Natalie Campbell and Hayden Campbell.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. T.R. King officiating. Burial will follow at 2 PM in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran’s Cemetery, Suffolk.
