FRANKLIN – Clarence Junior Story, 70, passed away with his family by his side on September 5, 2013. Born in Isle of Wight County, he was the only child of the late Clarence Moses and Nellie Cobb Story Davis. He retired after many years of service from the City of Franklin Public Works Department. He also worked for Allied Sand and Gravel.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Debbie Story Barnes and her husband, Kenneth of Newsoms; two grandchildren, Crystal Gale Blythe and Aaron Nickolas Blythe; long-time friends, Mary Ruth Turner and her daughter, Terry Davis, John Smith, Karen Frasier, Mary Glover, and many other family and friends.
The funeral will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Carmen Scoggins officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
