Franklin – Emile J McNinch, 88, passed away August 9, 2013. Born in Marshall County, WV, he was a son of the late Emile and Daisy Holmes McNinch. He was a member of Hunterdale Christian Church in Franklin and a former longtime resident of Steubenville, Ohio, where he was a member of Steubenville Baptist Church. Mr. McNinch was a retired regulator engineer for Columbia Gas Company and a retired farmer who loved his garden. He was predeceased by his first wife, Martha Virginia Cain McNinch, and his second wife, Norma Townsend McNinch, his son, Russell A. McNinch and stepdaughter, Kathy Mutton. He was a good Christian man who loved the Lord and devoted his life to his family.

Survivors include his daughter, June A. Reid, of Franklin; son, Donald A. McNinch of Albuquerque, NM; daughter-in-law, Rebecca McNinch, of Marianne, FL; three stepdaughters, Joyce Hill, Dawn Defallo and Diane Townsend; four grandchildren, Christopher Strait (Kelly), Jennifer Rebbe (Jason), Rusty McNinch and Melissa Abbott (David) and four great-grandchildren, Autumn and Grant Rebbe and Katlyn and Jonathan Abbott.

The funeral will be held at 3PM Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Wright officiating. Burial will be in Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, Ohio. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
