ROCK HILL – Ms. Clara May “Toni” Thompson passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2013 with her children, Billy and Cathie by her side.

A private service will be held in Virginia.

Born in Roanoke Rapids, NC, Ms. Thompson was a daughter of the late Ben Thomas Johnson and the late Eva Newsome Cutchins.  She was employed with Dr. Sam Kleitches, DDS in Charlotte, NC for many years and attended First Wesleyan Church in Rock Hill, SC.  She enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, painting and shopping.

Surviving are her children, Billy B. Davis, Jr. and his wife, Jane of Newbern, NC, Cathie D. Williams and her husband, Michael of York, SC, Shep Trant of Newport News, VA and Juanita Vick and her husband, Bobby of Carrsville, VA; her brother, Raleigh “Buddy” Cutchins of Virginia Beach, VA; her sisters, Gina Lowe and her husband, Garland of Ivor, VA and Peggy Kannan and her husband, Beaver of Franklin, VA; grandchildren, Madison Brooke Davis, Olivia Morgan Davis, Michael Patrick Williams and his wife, Kathryn and Matthew Lee Williams; two great-grandchildren, Kayden Nicole Williams and Seanna Grace Williams; and her niece and nephews.
