SUFFOLK—Alson Napoleon Cromwell of 1000 Litton Drive, Suffolk, Va., died Monday, June 10, 2013 at Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. He retired from Newport News Shipbuilding.

Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Renee Townsend (Larry) of Newport News, VA, Tara Denise Hart and Amy Cromwell; one son, Alson Cromwell Jr. (Candace) of Franklin, VA.; two sisters, Alice Edwards of Suffolk and Elizabeth Hopkins (Gene) of Chesapeake, VA; and one brother, Durrin Cromwell of Portsmouth, VA.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013 in the Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. A wake will be held from 6 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 12 at Crocker Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.
