Franklin High School holds spring sports awards program

The annual Franklin High School spring sports awards were held Monday night. FRANKLIN—Coach Mona Sumblin, Assistant Franklin High School Athletic Director, presided at the annual spring sports award program held in the auditorium of the school Monday, June 3.

The program also paid special recognition to all seniors, as many were escorted into the auditorium by their parents.

Coaches of student athletes presented awards to their teams that included, Special Olympics, softball, baseball, JV and Varsity soccer, boys and girls track and boys and girls tennis.

The highlight of the night was the awarding of the Bronco and Bronkette award. This award is the most prestigious award given by the school. It is given to the male and female athletes who excel in athletics and academics.
