FRANKLIN—Ida Mae Williams, 84, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Norfolk General Hospital. Mrs. Williams was born June 10, 1928 in Sussex, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Willie Vaughan and Mary Vaughan. She is predeceased in death by her husband Linwood H. Williams, her son, Thomas T. Williams, two brothers, Willie C. Vaughan and Thomas L. Vaughan.

Survivors include five sons; James L. Williams (Glenda) of Franklin, Va., Ernest L. Williams (Barbara) of Suffolk, Va., Lozie H. Williams (Peggy) of Suffolk, Va., Ronnie E. Williams (Wendy) of Boykins Va., Marvin L. Williams (Sandra) of Franklin, Va.; and two daughters, Christine W. Ford (Michael) of Franklin, Va. and Ethel Mae Williams; 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

The homegoing service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday May 15, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church, Franklin, with Rev. Ervin Vaughan of Norfolk, Va., officiating. Vaughan Funeral Home will be in charge of the service.
