ISLE OF WIGHT—No students were on the Isle of Wight Academy bus that was reported to be in an accident at approximately 9:15 a.m. today, May 7, confirmed Mary Margaret-Wells, director of development for the school.

Route 258 near Bob White Lane, where the accident occurred, is reportedly closed.

So far Wells had no other details as to the cause or whether anyone else was involved or if the bus driver was injured.
