SUFFOLK—Herbert Mac James Teal, 55 of 5333 Godwin Blvd. Suffolk, Va., died Friday, May 3, 2013.

He worked as a carpenter and was self-employed.

Survivors include his wife, Rochelle J. Teal of Newport News; one daughter, Jasmine Teal of Franklin, Va.; one son, Herbert Mac James Teal Jr. of Franklin, Va.; and two brothers, Jeri A. Teal of Suffolk and Christopher McCray of Windsor, NC.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Little Bethel Baptist Church officiated by Elder Felton Whitfield. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
