WAKEFIELD—David W. Huber, 72, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 28, 2013. Born in Newport News, Va., he was the son of the late Lawrence David Huber and Mattie Hargrave Huber. David retired from Union Camp/IP after 30 years of employment. He was a member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church and had been a member of the Ivor Masonic Lodge for many years. David was a loving and devoted son, husband, father and grandfather who worked hard to provide for his family. He enjoyed gardening, wood working and spending time with his Chows.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 51 years, Beatrice “Bea” Duck Huber; daughters, Sharon H. Atkins (Donald); Patricia H. Warriner (Donnie) and Janet H. Cowling (William); grandchildren, Carrie E. Atkins, Regan B. Cowling, Marc W. Cowling, Nathan F. Atkins and Dean Cowling and sisters, Betty H. Brinkley and Joyce H. Fuller.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Rocky Hock UMC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
