Franklin-Perry Howell Turner, Sr. , 70, went home to be with the Lord on April 27, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Turner was a native of Suffolk, a son of the late Rosser Lafayette and Pearl Lucas Turner and was predeceased by his stepfather, James Alonzo Turner; a brother, Michael Wayne Turner and a daughter, Teri Lynn Turner. He was a retired Ship Fitter, an Army veteran and was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Cynthia N. Turner; four daughters, Lisa T. McKinney and husband Ed of Windsor, Lori T. Walters and husband Cam, and Kimberly T. Smullen and husband Steve all of Suffolk, Jennifer T. Allen and husband Brad of Newport News; one son, Perry Howell Turner, Jr. and wife Donna of Franklin; ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one sister, Rose Jory and husband Harrell and two brothers, Robert L. Turner and wife Pat and Joel Turner and wife Judy and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6PM Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at The Rock Church of Franklin with Pastor David Dillon and Pastor John Hunter officiating.
