RICHMOND—Kenneth Rich, 83, passed away April 18, 2013, in McGuire Veterans Community Living Center, Richmond.

Mr. Rich was a resident of Drewryville, Va. for 21 years. Kenneth served 20 years in the United States Navy and retired after 30 years as a commercial painter. He is predeceased by his parents, Namon and Nettie Pearl Rich, a sister Edna Pegram, and a brother Floyd Rich. He is survived by his wife Ramona Rich; four daughters, Madonna Chory and husband, of Chesapeake, Va., Sharon Briedinger of LaMesa Ca., Rebecca Rice of Md., and Melissa Delbridge of Franklin, Va.; three sons, James D. Brooks and wife of Boise, Id., Michael Brooks of Franklin, and Timothy Brooks of Goose Creek, S.C.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Courtland Baptist Church. Family will receive friends at the family residence in Drewryville after the service.
