COURTLAND—In the most recent poll released by the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association on Tuesday, three local girls softball teams remained ranked near the top of their respective divisions.

In Division III, Southampton Academy held onto their number two statewide ranking, while Tidewater Academy slipped on spot to number five. The Division II poll has Isle of Wight Academy holding strong in the number three spot.
