COURTLAND— The Southampton Academy girls tennis team picked up its first win of the season over Fuqua School by the score of 5-4 on Tuesday at the Cypress Cove Country Club. The Lady Raiders were led by upperclassmen Barclay Gatten, Olivia Fox and Rachel White. All three girls won two matches to help avenge an earlier 3-6 loss to Fuqua.

At the top of the line-up in singles, Gatten and Fox dropped only three games collectively to lead the Raiders to a 2-0 lead.
