COURTLAND—Collin Raye will be the featured performer for the Franklin-Southampton Concert Association series. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 12, in Southampton High School auditorium.

Raye, who’s been nominated five times as county music Male Vocalist of the Year, earned five platinum albums, 16 No. 1 hits and 24 top 10 hits.

His notable songs include “Love, Me,” “Every Second,” “One Boy, One Girl,” “On the Verge,” “That Was a River,” and “What the Heart Wants.”

“I believe in Providence,” said Raye. ““I believe there’s a reason things happen the way they do. I also believe that if you’ve treated people right and you continue to work hard at your craft, things will happen. I want to keep going. I want hit records. I want to make music.”

Tickets cost $30 for adults, $10 for students. For more information, contact Association President Nancy Rowe at 653-2498.
