Frances Lee Hunt

FRANKLIN—Mrs. Frances Lee Hunt of Delaware Road, Franklin, Va., departed this life April 3, 2013. She was born June 28, 1952 to Earlene W. Lee and the late John Lee, Jr. in Southampton Co., Va.



Frances was a member of White Oak Spring Baptist Church where she served on the Gospel and Senior Choirs. She was an insurance agent with A.L. Williams Insurance Company and was promoted to Regional Vice President. Her early education was acquired in the Southampton Public School System and she was a graduate of Southampton High School.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Hunt; one daughter, LaVonda Benjamin (Forbes), of Franklin, Va.; two sons, Herbert L. Hunt (Arshanika) and Kirby L. Hunt of Franklin, Va.; step-son, Samuel Boykins, of Franklin, Va.; three sisters, Cynthia Woodley, Lucy Hunt, Carrie Dawson; four brothers, Darnell Lee, Milton Lee, Alvin Lee, John Lee; seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

A homegoing service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2013, White Oak Spring Baptist Church, 26125 Delaware Road, Franklin, Va., with the pastor, Reverend Melvin Wofford delivering the eulogy. On the day of service, her remains will rest in church for viewing by 1:30 p.m. The committal and benediction will be in White Oak Spring Cemetery. A traditional service with dignity will be conducted by Wm. M. Johnson & Sons, Inc., 224 South Main Street, Franklin, Va. Please share your condolences with the family at
